This is a list of working payphones I’ve found in Colorado, specifically the Boulder-Denver area. I try to check these payphones once every few months.
On that note, I am also trying to limit this list to payphones I can reasonably check. There are a lot of non-working payphones out there, but those are pretty useless to people who need to make a call.

This payphone is well-placed for those traveling east on I-70. This phone does not accept incoming calls. calling card. The phone makes a clacking sound when the
number is called (ringer broken?), but the call does not
connect when the receiver is picked up. Instead, the

staff are working, near the door to the kitchen. Google Maps
lists the payphone number as the coffee shop’s main
number, so staff use it to receive to-go orders. Please be
respectful of staff: ask before using the payphone, and
treat it more like a behind-the-counter phone than a public
